Onion Pickle

Onion Pickle

  • 2 large onions, finely shredded
  • 8-10 bird’s eye chillies, finely sliced
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves, finely shredded
  • 1 Tbsp shredded ginger bud flower (bunga kantan)
  • 1 tsp shredded lemon grass

    Seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar

    Mix onions and all shredded ingredients with salt, sugar and vinegar. Toss well to mix, then put into an air-tight plastic container. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes a beautiful appetiser.
